Kade and I have been struggling to find activities to do amidst the pandemic. Some days I feel like I might lose my mind… I am all about schedules and doing the same things over and over (one year I ate the same oatmeal everyday, literally every day) but the fact that I don’t have the option to go do things is driving me nuts.
Most of our days are filled with walks to the park where we stay away from the playground and explore rocks and twigs. We explore the house A LOT. Take drives to Costa Mesa to see the planes taking off from John Wayne… Visit Grandma and Grandpa Thorsness.
What I would really love to do is bring Kade to the Zoo, go out for ice cream without having a panic attack, let him explore the playground, take a parent and me class. But that isn’t happening anytime soon… So the search continues for outdoor, low-risk activities for Kade! If anyone has any ideas please let me know!!!
So here is a vlog on Kade and I going to Noguchi’s California Scenario, an outdoor sculpture garden across the way from South Coast Plaza. My dad had suggested it and we decided to get some sweets from Blackmarket Bakery and head on over! If you have never been to Black Market Bakery, go now. It is so good!
