Frankenstein Rice Krispies

These were SO fun to make! I am very pleased with how they came out and highly encourage anyone to try these out! Even if you think you don’t have what it takes, you do, these guys are super easy!

  • Rice Krispie treats (Rice Krispies, butter, marshmallows)
  • Googley eye candies
  • Chocolate
  • Candy Corn

I started with making a basic rice krispie recipe. The only thing I did differently was add green food coloring to the marshmallow mixture. The first time I tried to put the coloring in once the krispies were in and it failed so bad.

I buttered and put them in an 8×8 pan to cool. Once they were set enough to cut I took them out of the pan and used a long non-serrated knife to cut into 9 squares.

I microwaved some dark chocolate in a bowl until melted.

And then I got to assembling!

I took a square and spread a spoonful of chocolate on the top edge of the rice krispie. I then helped the chocolate drip over the edges to make it look like hair.

Then I used a little bit of chocolate to add the google eyes.

And then I carved out some little holes on the sides to insert the candy corns.

I hope you enjoy making these fun treats for Halloween!!

Love, Tasman
